About Scott Turnbull
Founder, EPIC Builders · Florida Certified General Contractor
Scott Turnbull brings more than 30 years of construction and engineering leadership to EPIC Builders. His experience spans commercial, industrial, residential, retail, educational, and medical facilities, along with electric power generation, logistics infrastructure, and facility automation. Having worked in owner’s representation, general contracting, and subcontractor leadership, Scott understands how to connect an owner’s goals with the decisions and coordination needed to deliver a project.
During his tenure at Caterpillar from 2012 to 2025, Scott led global facility engineering, planning, and construction initiatives across the Americas and Asia-Pacific. His responsibilities included multimillion-dollar capital programs, facility expansions, automation, and power infrastructure upgrades, with oversight from specifications and design through procurement, construction, and commissioning. His work also included support for the Global Dealer Learning Centers at Caterpillar’s Miami Lakes campus.
Earlier roles in project management, estimating, operations, and structural steel construction gave Scott a foundation in field execution, cost control, and trade coordination. In the U.S. Virgin Islands, he directed field operations for more than 100 construction workers and multiple subcontractors on educational and medical facilities. Today, he brings that broad perspective to South Florida through EPIC Builders, supporting owners with early planning, design and engineering coordination, pre-construction, and construction management, as well as residential, commercial, marine infrastructure, electrical, and standby power projects.
